I was advised Jan 2022 that I had a small aggressive cancer in my left beast that was very small and caught early so the outcome was looking very good for me. This never prepared me for actually going into The Royal Marsden Clinic and talking about surgery to remove it and all that follows for weeks, months and years afterwards. Chloe and Michelle Harris were assigned to look after me from then on and were absolutely fantastic in every single manner. Their direct and honest approach with regards to exactly what was going to happen to me along with little diagrams was key to me understanding this all. The took their time in explaining things. I honestly left there with no more fear of the unknow as my mind was running away with " what if" scenarios. Michelle was there throughout with all my questions answered in great detail. I will be forever grateful to Chloe and her team for taking care of me in a very professional manner but mostly because they spoke to me and took care of me in a manner that was more like " one women to another " and not a Dr to a patient. It is hard to explain but it was like a Big Sister or Auntie being in the room with me. I will always be grateful to them and Kingston Hospital.

After 26 years, my breast cancer returned in both breasts. The "tried and trusted" procedure would be double mastectomy followed by chemo. In other words, overkill on cancer with chemo to extend but ruin quality of life. Chloe listened to my concerns, did research and using her exceptional medical skills and surgical talent, did lumpectomies followed by symmetrical shaping of my breasts - even saving the nipples. She was compassionate, fully engaged, shared risks and procedural details. The result was exceptional!! From experience, I can say she is masterful and I trust her implicitly.

I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in October of 2021 and under Chloe’s care. She was extremely compassionate and approachable and my mind was put at rest that she was also conducting my surgery and lymph node biopsy. Everything was explained in detail and any questions welcomed. I never felt under pressure to make important decisions about my treatment. She is an absolute credit to the Kingston Hospital Breast Unit.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Spring 2021 and Miss Constantinou was my surgeon. I would wholeheartedly recommend her, not just for her skills as a surgeon but also because of her kind, caring and friendly personality. I am very happy with the result of the surgery and have recovered well, with no complications. Chloe has helped me through this difficult experience and I am extremely grateful that she is my surgeon.

Ms Constantinou provides compassionate and patient centred care. She is rigorous in her investigations. Her surgical work is exceptional and after a lumpectomy and symmetricisation I am very pleased with the cosmetic appearance of my breasts. I felt well informed throughout my treatment. Ms Constantinou is very human and approachable. The best bedside manner of any clinician I have encountered. Her positivity and good humour is infectious which helps enormously when going through cancer treatment.
